Music is a wonderful way to express your creativity. For adult students, I teach a course designed to advance quickly. In a few months you can play the piano like you've known music all your life.

Children can also benefit from piano lessons in many ways:

It builds character and responsibility by giving them a regularly scheduled practice time.

It develops hand-eye coordination

It encourages creativity and positive self-expression

It cultivates a love of good, wholesome music

It provides access to college scholarships in America's top colleges

GUIDELINES FOR PIANO STUDENTS:

Each student needs to have a piano available to practice on. Thirty minutes a daily of practice time is a good average, and will result in good progress.
Each lesson will be for 30 minutes; once a week. Please try to be on time for your lesson as I schedule students back to back. If you are late, I will give you the remaining lesson time that is alloted; however you will not receive the full 30 minutes.

Payment schedules

Each student will need to pay for the lesson books. I can get them at the music store at a 10% discount, and let you reimburse me for them, or you may pick them up yourself. They need to be brought with you to each lesson.
If you know a month in advance that you will not be able to attend a scheduled lesson, please let me know, and an alternate lesson time will be arranged. Payment for the month is due on the first lesson of the month, and is non-refundable.

Rescheduling Lessons

All lessons must be paid in full at the beginning of the month. If for some reason you must miss a lesson, please call and let me know. If you give me at least 24 hours notice, I will try to reschedule the lesson for later in the week. If you cannot give me 24 hours notice, I cannot reschedule the lesson. I must still charge you for the lesson, as we count on this income and the space was already alotted for. It is very important for the students to come to every lesson. If lessons are skipped, it reallY affects their progress, and I spend alot of time catching up from their last lesson.

I look forward to teaching music! Piano is a part of my life and music is a wonderful way to express your individuality. My goal is to instill in my students a love for their music and the ability to play with accuracy for the enjoyment of all who listen!
