Remembering 9/11, 2001... ONE YEAR LATER
It's been one sad year ago today
When terrorists brought a vast dismay
Upon New York City
And 'we the people' of the USA.
A group of cowards tried to bring us down
Like the Twin Towers tumbling to the ground
By hijacking and crashing four of our planes
For an unknown cause so unjust and insane.
Untold thousands lost their lives this day
Leaving many saddened hearts across the USA
From this act so unthinkable and so unjust
In this country, In God We DO Trust.
What a year it has been, since 9/11
Our lives were forever changed and in tears
What Once was unimaginable and unthinkable
Became a reality of uncertainties and fears.
Our comfort and security has been tested
Our values were shaken to the ground
God is our Redeemer in times of need
His mercy and goodness will never let us down.
We have sharpened our focus on what's important
And re-evaluated our priorities of lasting values
In the midst of the clouds, smoke, uncertainties and fears
God is the answer and will dry our tears.
Only once before did an unjust act occur
In 1941, when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor
Payment in full did come our way
Just as will this havoc on the NY bay.
'Payment in Full' will come soon
To those idiots who brought our doom
Called 'Death from a coward's view'
Bush will see to this before he's through.
The 'GIANT' no longer slumbers nor sleeps
Our tears turned to great anger as we still weep
Just as surely as the terrorists will fall
America, United; forever will stand tall.
From New York City to worldwide
People hold hands to show our pride
The people's rage has grown so strong
Determined to make them pay for their wrongs.
America's tears still massively fall today
For our sisters and brothers who died that day
We shall never forget all those innocent lives
Lost in an act of terror as quick as a blink of the eye.
Along with the workers in the World Trade Center
Were policemen, firefighters and many rescuers
Leaving behind sisters, brothers, husbands and wives
And orphaned children, alone to cry.
Be it the doom of 1941 or September 2001
We'll never forget these two wretched days
As America stands stronger than ever before
Our God in Heaven keeps watch forevermore.
America stands Stronger and more United today
As we remember those lost along our way
God commands us to forgive and love very much
From One nation Under ONE God We DO Trust.
As we remember this horrible September day
Lift your eyes toward Heaven and pray
Be silent, stand still and lets' ne'er forget
The wreaking havoc and lost lives on this day.
With scars upon our hearts when looking back
We'll wave our flags so high with glory and honor
Knowing God will punish all horrendous and sorrowful acts
"We the People" stand 'UNITED' and determined to ...
"Let's roll" America aback.
In the aftermath of your hatred and horrendous act
That temporarily brought us to our knees
Our awesome God has turned things around
And sheds His light on love in this time of need.
You terrorists, one thing you didn't count on
In your defeated efforts to be a total success
Is the power of OUR God's great love
Helping the American Spirit in times of distress.
Too bad you didn't know our powerful God
Before you unleashed so much unnecessary pain
In trying to humble us with your valiant call
Our GOD picked us up to forever stand brave and tall.
Americans leaned on only ONE God
To help us get through this year of distress
With grateful hearts, America is greatly saddened
To know you won't past God's final test.
'We the people' are NOT happy about this
Nor were we on those two days of past doom
Today we mourn for so many of our loved ones
That got an Eternal Crown much too soon.
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Terrorists struck the United States Tuesday morning in harrowing, widespread attacks that included at least three commercial jet crashes into significant buildings.
In the first attack, a plane hit the north tower of the World Trade Center in Manhattan shortly before 9 a.m., followed by another plane into the second tower about 20 minutes later. Both towers later collapsed.
About an hour later, a plane crashed into the Pentagon, part of which later collapsed.

United Airlines Flight 93 airliner headed from Newark, New Jersey, to San Francisco, crashed near Somerset, Pennsylvania -- police said initial reports indicated no survivors. It was not known if this was connected to the attacks. United also said it was "deeply concerned" about Flight l75 from Boston to Los Angeles.
The Pentagon, the White House, the State Department, the Justice Department, the Capitol, the CIA and all other government buildings in Washington evacuated.
In the first ever national ground stop of aircraft, all flights nationwide have been stopped at their departure airports. Full story

The Pledge of Allegiance
I pledge Allegiance
to the flag,
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic, for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty, and Justice for all.
If my people, which
are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and
turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
14 ¶ For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Ephesians 3:14-19 KJV
Our Heroes In Blue
We gather today to remember,
The sacrifices our loved ones have made,
We will never forget those loved ones,
And the terrible price they have paid,
Their courage, dedication and professionalism,
Will forever be alive in our hearts,
May God, in His infinite power,
Help mend those broken parts,
There is no greater pain,
Than the loss of those we love,
But we pray you will find inner strength,
With guidance from the Lord above,
It's a very tough journey you are faced with,
But together we can all make it through,
So we gather today to remember and share,
The love for Our Heroes in Blue,
We know they are watching us now,
And are so proud that you're all here,
They would like to see smiles and not sadness,
See hope in your eyes and not fear,
They are at peace with the Lord up in heaven,
And they would like to be at peace too,
They know in their hearts how we miss them,
And they want you to know they miss you,
May you all find some solace in knowing,
That in God's eyes they did not die in vain,
They gave their lives doing a job they believed in,
And it hurts them to see you in pain,
So as we pray for those loved ones we lost,
They would also like us to pray too,
For the brave men and women still out there,
Their Brothers and Sisters in Blue.

Psalm 36:5-6 KJV
God bless America,
Land that I love!
Stand beside her and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America, my home sweet home!
GOD Bless AMERICA!

and the meditation of my heart,

my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm
America's Day Of Horror...
On the 11th, 2001; a beautiful September day
Thousands of Americans went about their way
Not one thought of the ascending gloom
That hit New York, boom, boom, boom.
Four of our planes were hijacked
Many lives lost by this cowardly act
The twin towers came tumbling down
Part of the Pentagon tossed to the ground.
New York City had a peaceful tone
That in seconds became a "War Zone"
Thousands of innocent lives now lost
At the hands of some despicable host.
In shock and grief, sorrow and pain
This city remains a ghostly scene
As thousands labor to rescue and recover
Those caught in this 'horrendous act' of horror.
We Americans pray as we feel great grief
That descended upon us like a thief
Who master-minded this terrorist plan,
To show America that they can?
President Bush vows to hunt you down
Your punishment is surely to abound
"You may run; but you can't hide
We will find you by and by"!
America is a united nation that stands
Brave and tall even at our traitor's hands
We'll win and stand taller than ever before
For "In God We Trust" forevermore.
We may tumble; but we will not fall
Standing still temporarily; we'll make our call
You'd best ask for God's shoulder to cry on
For you'll surely need it before we return home.
"Justice Shall Prevail" is a promise to you
For you are satanic and members of satan's crew
America will soon be victorious over you
You'll wish you had chosen God before we're through.
We'll take each perpetual one; we know who you are
And those who helped harbor the plan from afar
You had your 'day of fun', filling us with gloom
Pay-backs are hell; you'll see soon!
For you left us devastated, in shock and great grief
And in our minds; a bizarre scene beyond belief
With life and liberty and justice for all
America stands firm in making their promised call.
We will recover and retaliate appropriately
From this bizarre and massive catastrophe
We will not fade nor will we fall
For America proudly forever stands tall.
For we are ONE NATION under - GOD -
The SUPREME ONE -who hears our every cry and plea
In God we trust; as, He sends us SALVATION and PEACE
MERCY, LIFE, JUSTICE and LIBERTY!

GOD BLESS AMERICA, LAND OF THE FREE!
Whom Will You Serve?
14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15 ¶ And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24:14 - 15a
In these verses of
scripture, Joshua is speaking to the whole nation of Israel. In
the past, their forefathers had turned away from God; they had
practiced idol worship, settled into the sinful lifestyles of
other nations, and failed to keep the laws and commandments of
the one true God.
Today, God speaks to us, America, as a nation: "Whom will
Whom did the founding fathers of our nation serve? Did they serve
the one true God, the Creator of the universe and everything in
it? Did they serve God, the Father, who sent His Son Jesus Christ
-the Messiah- into the world to be offered as the ultimate
sacrifice, the Lamb of God, slain for all the sins of the world?
Did they serve the Lord our God who sent the Holy Spirit to dwell
in us, to lead us, to guide us, and to direct our paths? Whom did
the founders of the United States of America serve?
How will we respond to Him today as a nation?
How will you respond to Him as an individual? Are you prepared to
Will you answer His call to serve Him? Whom will you serve?
Whom will you serve?
"And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey." Joshua 24:24 KJV
May God continue to
and may God bless you as you serve Him .
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV
A Handful of Madmen
A handful of madmen from a place far away, violated our freedom,
changed us forever today.
At first, was it an accident, just an airplane off course? Or was it an
some thought the worse.
After the second collision, the third, then the fourth, It all became so
clear, A terrorist attack of course.
But who could be so cowardly, so callused and cold. To kill innocent
people, their life stories still untold.
How could this happen to our United States today. Some say it's our
policies, but most are sympathetic, they say.
The good people around the world, in agreement with us, our USA.
Democracy will prevail, it always has and always will.
How could it not? It's human nature, it's our will. Our emotions run
feelings of disbelief, feelings of sorrow, of horror, of sadness and
Let's not forget the victims, thousands it seems. Snuffed out like used
cigarettes, no future, no dreams.
The firefighters who paid, the ultimate price. Trying to save others, to
the end of their life. The policemen and women, laying their lives on
With a love for others, far superior to mine. The pilots of the planes,
probably did what they could.
Fighting these madmen, these terrorists, these hoods. Who are the real
heroes, from our living rooms we know.
But the heroes at the scene, they're humble to a fault they'll say. But
you and I know where the heroes were today.
Why didn't we anticipate. Couldn't it have been stopped? Before it was
Now is not the time to try to place blame.
Now is not the time to create feelings of guilt or shame. Now is the time for our nation to unite.
To show the world we'll continue to do right. Be thankful for your freedom, say a prayer tonight.
Remember our forefathers, we've only begun to fight.
My father once said he was just a simple man, his heart was his might.
Our God is in control, all powerful, almighty. He made the way clear,
that day on Calvary.
